In 2020, EMGN launches two Working Groups: Data Collection and Analysis, and Counter Guarantees.
Data Collection and Analysis
The Data Collection and Analysis Working Group (WG1) aims at overcoming the
shortage of quantitative and qualitative data on guarantee schemes in
Southern Mediterranean and other countries. WG1 started its activities in
September 2019, it is headed by EMEA. This working group pivotal for EMGN’s
work since it will provide the knowledge on constraints to finance and
guarantee schemes necessary for kick-starting the other working groups; as
well as part of the trainings and the advocacy activities. Work in the
areas of data collection will favour attraction of new members while playing a
central role in building EMGN’s credibility by making available inexistent
outputs
